AgriVentures Featured by the he European Commission’s Directorate-General for Climate Action (DG CLIMA)

We are proud to share that AgriVentures has been selected and featured by the European Climate Pact, an initiative of the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Climate Action (DG CLIMA), as part of the Making an ImPact campaign.

Our story, “AgriVentures: Nurturing climate-smart food and farming,” is now live on the European Climate Pact website and highlights our work in supporting climate-smart innovation, young entrepreneurs, and resilient agrifood systems in emerging European regions.

The feature showcases AgriVentures’ journey from a grassroots initiative in Bulgaria to a growing regional platform that connects farmers, researchers, startups, and investors around shared climate and sustainability challenges. It also reflects our focus on empowering young people, bridging the gap between innovation and practice, and supporting solutions that contribute to climate adaptation and mitigation in agriculture.

Being recognised by DG CLIMA is an important milestone for our organisation. It confirms that bottom-up, community-driven approaches to climate action in food and farming are not only relevant locally, but also valued at European level.

As part of the campaign, the European Climate Pact is also sharing AgriVentures’ story across its communication channels, helping amplify the voices of innovators and practitioners working on the ground.

We would like to thank everyone who has been part of this journey — founders, farmers, researchers, mentors, partners, and volunteers — and the European Climate Pact team for the opportunity to share our work with a wider European audience.

We remain committed to supporting climate-smart agrifood innovation and to building resilient food systems through collaboration, knowledge-sharing, and action.
