Agriventures Selected Among the Winners of the Circular Voices Project

The new European initiative Circular Voices: From the Balkans to Andalusia – Climate‑Smart Farming Narratives has officially launched. Led by Agriventures in partnership with Alberizas, the project explores how circular food practices in Spain and Bulgaria create tangible environmental and social impact. By reducing greenhouse gas emissions, strengthening local economies, and amplifying sustainability stories, Circular Voices aims to make Europe’s transition to a circular food system both visible and relatable.

Agriventures, a Bulgaria‑based NGO supporting startups and innovators in agriculture and food, was selected as one of the leading organizations driving this effort.
Together with Alberizas from Spain, the team will bring forward real‑life stories from farmers practicing circular approaches in olive groves, pork and wine production, lavender fields, cereal cultivation, and greenhouse systems.
Through participatory workshops, storytelling sessions, and visual media, Circular Voices will showcase the creativity and resilience of rural communities who are transforming agricultural models from linear to circular.
Farmers will take the lead in shaping narratives that demonstrate how traditional knowledge and modern innovation can coexist to build more sustainable food systems.
The project will culminate in the creation of a Circular Storytelling Toolkit — a practical guide for communities, NGOs, and entrepreneurs who wish to communicate their own circular journeys. By translating complex sustainability concepts into accessible and inspiring stories, Agriventures and Alberizas hope to motivate others across Europe to embrace climate‑smart solutions.
“Circular agriculture isn’t only a set of techniques—it’s a mindset. By elevating farmer voices, we make climate‑smart solutions relatable, repeatable, and scalable across regions,” said Dilyana Kutsarova, Co‑Founder of Agriventures.
“From Andalusia to the Balkans, we see common challenges—and powerful solutions. Sharing these narratives helps communities learn from each other and act faster,” added Sonsoles Jimenes, representative from Alberizas.
The initiative is implemented with the support of the Circular Food Systems Network (CFS Network) and the Global Research Alliance on Agricultural Greenhouse Gases (GRA), connecting local insights with global ambitions for resilient, low‑carbon food systems.
The first participatory workshop will take place in December, marking the beginning of this cross‑border journey of collaboration, creativity, and climate action.
