AgriVentures Welcomes Mealprot to Its Growing Community

With the beginning of the new year, the AgriVentures community is pleased to share another milestone in its continued growth. We proudly welcome Mealprot, a family-owned agri-food startup driven by innovation, sustainability, and a strong commitment to circular agriculture.

Founded in 2023, Mealprot develops organic fertilizers and biopreparations through a fully circular production model based on Tenebrio molitor (mealworm).
By combining deep biological expertise with resource-efficient and accessible production technology, the company transforms agri-sector by-products into high-value solutions tailored for organic and sustainable farming.
At the core of Mealprot’s portfolio is its flagship innovation—a unique organic insecticide that strengthens plants’ natural immunity rather than harming insects.
This approach not only preserves biodiversity but also significantly reduces farmers’ dependency on chemical inputs, lowering plant protection costs by up to 60%. The result is a solution that aligns economic efficiency with environmental responsibility.
Mealprot’s work exemplifies how circular economy principles can be practically applied in agriculture, turning waste streams into valuable bio-inputs while supporting healthier ecosystems and more resilient food systems.

We are proud to welcome a family-led venture that demonstrates how tradition, responsibility, and innovation can go hand in hand in shaping the future of agri-food.
Welcome to the AgriVentures community, Mealprot.
