Bridge2Food Europe 2026 to Bring Global Food Innovation Leaders to Copenhagen

Bridge2Food Europe 2026 will take place from 9 to 11 June in Copenhagen, Denmark, gathering international leaders in food innovation, alternative proteins, product development and consumer research for a three-day industry summit focused on the future of sustainable food systems.
The event is being co-hosted with Food & Bio Cluster Denmark and marks the first time the conference will be held in Copenhagen.
Organisers have announced the 2026 theme as “Unlocking the Consumer Code,” reflecting growing industry demand to better understand what drives purchasing decisions in a rapidly changing food market. According to the event description, companies are facing increasing pressure to balance taste, nutrition, affordability, trust, convenience and sustainability while bringing new products to market.
The programme begins on 9 June with a dedicated Technical Course hosted at the Novonesis Innovation Campus. This opening day will focus on scientific and technical developments across fermentation, plant-based foods and cultivated food technologies, with participation from universities, research institutes and industry experts. Workshops with major ingredient and technology companies are also planned.
The summit continues on 10 and 11 June with two full conference days featuring plenary sessions and specialist tracks covering consumer and market trends, product development and processing, and health-driven innovation. Speakers and contributors are expected from global organisations including Nestlé, Mondelēz, Oatly, ADM, IFF, Euromonitor and Wageningen University & Research.
Bridge2Food says the event is designed to help businesses translate research and innovation into commercially successful products while building stronger collaboration across the global food ecosystem. With more than 650 attendees, 95 speakers and over 250 companies expected, the 2026 edition is positioned as one of Europe’s leading gatherings for next-generation food innovation.
