🌍 Call Open: Apply for 2026 Cross-Visits for Operational Groups


The EU CAP Network has officially launched a new call for applications inviting EIP-AGRI Operational Groups to host or participate in three thematic cross-visits taking place during the week of 15 June 2026.

What Are Cross-Visits?
Cross-visits are interactive study visits designed to:
Encourage peer-to-peer knowledge exchange
Share practical innovation results
Strengthen transnational cooperation
Boost agricultural innovation across Europe
These visits allow Operational Groups to present real-world solutions and learn from fellow innovators.
The Three 2026 Focus Themes
1. Plant Genetic Resources
Exploring crop diversity, conservation strategies, and resilient agricultural systems.
2. Robotics & Artificial Intelligence
Showcasing smart farming technologies and precision agriculture tools transforming farm management.
3. Protein Crops & Climate Change
Innovations improving sustainable protein crop production under changing climate conditions.
Who Can Apply?
Eligible applicants include:
EIP-AGRI Operational Groups
Ongoing or completed projects
Groups with intermediate or final results
You can apply to:
Host a cross-visit
Participate as a visitor
Or both (separate applications per Operational Group)
📍 Event Details
Duration: Approx. 1.5 days (excluding travel)
Exact dates & locations: Announced mid-March 2026
Travel & accommodation: Organised and covered by the EU CAP Network
Participating in cross-visits offers: Direct exposure to innovative practices, International networking opportunities, Visibility for your Operational Group, Potential partnerships for future projects.
