Climate action that works for you - An agenda for competitiveness, prosperity and resilience

Agriventures Joins the European Commission in Shaping Europe’s Climate Future
On 30 September 2025, the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Climate Action (DG CLIMA) will host a high-level hybrid event in Brussels, bringing together policymakers, business leaders, civil society, and innovators to reaffirm Europe’s path to climate neutrality by 2050.
We are proud to share that Agriventures has been invited to take part in this pivotal conversation, standing alongside global voices committed to advancing sustainable solutions for agriculture and beyond.
The event will feature the participation of Wopke Hoekstra, European Commissioner for Climate, Net-Zero and Clean Growth, and will highlight not only the urgency of accelerating climate action but also the immense opportunities it presents for people, prosperity, and business. Against a backdrop of geopolitical uncertainty, the European Union continues to lead the way in building a resilient and net-zero economy, and this gathering will serve as both a reaffirmation of commitment and a showcase of success stories that inspire action across sectors.
Agriventures’ involvement reflects the growing recognition of agriculture and food systems as central to Europe’s climate and sustainability agenda. By sharing insights from our work with innovators, entrepreneurs, and farmers, we will contribute to discussions on how climate action can strengthen competitiveness, safeguard the environment, and create new opportunities for rural communities.
The event is open to the public and stakeholders from across industries, governance, academia, and civil society. While registration for in-person participation in Brussels has closed, the event will be livestreamed to ensure broad access to this important dialogue. Those interested can register to join online and be part of Europe’s climate journey.
This moment is more than a discussion; it is an opportunity to influence the future. We are honored to represent Agriventures and the voice of sustainable agri-food innovation in this critical forum, and we look forward to contributing to the collective effort toward a climate-neutral Europe.

Agriventures Joins SYSARM: Helping Europe’s Farmers
Every farmer already knows how to manage risk day to day — weather, prices, supply chains, you name it. What most don’t have is a way to see how all of those risks connect, and how a decision made today can come back to bite (or help) them two seasons from now. That’s the gap SYSARM is here to close, and Agriventures has just signed on as a core partner to help make it happen. On 27–28 May, our team — represented by Ivaylo Yankov — joined partners from Italy, Romania, Bulgaria and Poland in...

At Green Transition Forum 6.0 in Sofia, four leading agrifood innovators tackled the hard questions about AI, biotechnology, EU funding gaps, and what it really takes to scale technology from lab to farm. European agriculture is under pressure from every direction — rising input costs, climate instability, tightening sustainability regulations, and a funding landscape that doesn't always match the pace of innovation. On June 4, 2026, at the main stage of Green Transition Forum 6.0 in Sofia,...
