ECCP Webinar: Start-up Support in the EU – How to Get It and How to Shape It

BRUSSELS, Belgium — February 24, 2026 — The European Cluster Collaboration Platform (ECCP) is hosting a free online webinar “Start-up support in the EU: how to get it, how to shape it” on 24 February 2026, from 09:30 to 11:30 CET.
The event is open to all stakeholders involved in supporting start-ups across Europe and aims to foster dialogue about improving access to support services and strengthening start-up ecosystems across the EU.
What the Webinar Offers
The online session will bring together a broad community of participants — including start-ups, cluster organisations, investors, public authorities, and corporations — to explore practical ways to access and improve start-up support in the EU. It will focus on opening up opportunities, sharing insights and exchange experiences on what works well and what needs enhancement.

Key themes include:
Regional start-up support — comparison of models, lessons learned, and effective practices across Europe.
Access to venture capital — discussion of barriers and opportunities for early-stage financing.
Cooperation with corporations — how established companies can collaborate with emerging ventures and support innovation.
The event will provide space for discussion, networking and contribution from participants who want to share success stories or best practices relevant to EU start-up support.

This event is designed for:
Start-ups looking to expand access to investors and corporate partnerships.
Organisations and public authorities involved in start-up support at regional, national or EU level.
