LIFE Calls for Proposals 2026 – Save the Dates for the Next Funding Round

The European Commission has announced the upcoming timeline for the LIFE Programme Calls for Proposals 2026, one of the EU’s main funding instruments supporting projects in environment, climate action, circular economy, nature protection, and clean energy transition.
The new calls are expected to be published on 21 April 2026 on the EU Funding & Tenders Portal. To help applicants prepare, the EU LIFE Info Days 2026 will take place online from 28 to 30 April 2026, providing guidance on priorities, application requirements, and tips for preparing strong proposals.
During the info days, participants will receive detailed information about the four LIFE sub-programmes:
Nature and biodiversity
Circular economy and quality of life
Climate change mitigation and adaptation
Clean energy transitionThese sessions are designed to support organisations, companies, public authorities, and research institutions interested in submitting proposals.
The LIFE Programme continues to play a key role in funding innovative projects that contribute to the EU’s environmental and climate objectives, with calls expected to close later in 2026 after the publication in April.
