Organized by the Montenegrin Investment Agency, this competition explicitly lists Agriculture & Food among its focus sectors, alongside Energy & Environment, Software & IT, and Mobility & Logistics. It's open to founders from pre-seed through revenue-generating stages, which makes it one of the more flexible entry points on this list. TechSoup: Rural AI Catalyst Fund

This one deserves more attention than it usually gets. The fund supports organizations in rural regions building AI-enabled solutions specifically in agriculture, alongside education, healthcare, and small business. It's part of a $5.5 million fund anchored by Google and managed by TechSoup, with strategic input from a Community Advisory Council that includes the Aspen Institute and the Center on Rural Innovation. AceON Accelerator, Batch 6

AceON runs a sector-agnostic accelerator targeting ideation and pre-seed stage founders, with applications closing September 3, 2026. It won't suit every agrifood founder, but for very early-stage teams still shaping a concept, sector-agnostic accelerators are often more accessible than specialized ones, and worth a look if your idea hasn't found a niche-specific programme yet.

Draper Richards Kaplan Foundation

This one runs on a rolling basis rather than a fixed deadline, which makes it easy to forget entirely. DRK funds early-stage social enterprises with up to $300,000 over three years, paired with a dedicated board member for the full three years and specialist support in leadership, fundraising, and scaling that the foundation values at roughly $500,000 in kind. Initial review takes eight to ten weeks, so applying earlier rather than later matters even without a hard cutoff. Social enterprises in circular agrifood, food access, or sustainable farming fit well within DRK's broader social enterprise mandate.

Stanley 1913: Creators Fund

Aimed at early-stage organizations focused on mental health, sustainability, and community, with $50,000 in funding available. It's not agrifood-specific, but sustainability-driven community projects, including regenerative farming and local food system initiatives, sit comfortably within its scope. Applications close September 13, 2026.

Social Shifters: Global Innovation Challenge

Open to young founders aged 18 to 30 already delivering measurable social or environmental impact, with up to $15,000 plus pitch coaching available. Given how many circular agrifood and sustainable food ventures are founded by young entrepreneurs, this is worth a look if you fit the age bracket and impact criteria.
